Animal Art

We animals are artists despite the reluctance of humans to believe this. They prefer to see our creative efforts as a instinct. It is o.k. if what we do is "territorial marking". But art is considered for humans only. Every art animal has had their sense of the Beautiful reduced to "vertical marking behavior". Our behavior is not random pawing . It shows a great sense of structure and form. It is futile to argue these fine points with humans. Instead the executive committee of ACGS has set up a sub-committee to sponsor an open Animal Art Show. All submissions are welcome. Please e-mail your art as a GIF or JPEG file attached to an e-mail description of your work. Send all work to glande@voicenet.com .
